Basic Operations

Selecting an input mode

1. Press key. Available input modes will appear on the

screen.

2. Scroll to the desired input method and press Select. The

selected mode will appear on the upper right corner of the

screen.

• abc mode: Allows you to enter lower case letters.

• ABC mode: Allows you to enter upper case letters.

• Abc mode: The first letter entered is automatically capitalized.

• 123 mode: Allows you to enter numbers.

• Punctuation (,.!?:;) mode: Enter punctuation marks.

Entering text

• Press a key and the corresponding letters will appear in a bar on

the lower part of the screen.

• Press the key several times to highlight the desired letter (or

number) and it will be entered when the bar disappears. You can

also proceed to enter the next letter when the desired letter (or

number) is highlighted. The remaining number of letters you

can enter is shown on the upper right corner of the screen.

The table below shows the mapping of each key and the corre-

sponding letter in different input modes.
