6. Pull the dipstick out again.
7. Check the oil on the dipstick to
make sure it is not contaminated.
Caution
Re-insert the dipstick completely.
At this time, it should not contact
with any other parts.
8. Check the oil level. Oil should be
between MIN and MAX mark on
the dipstick as shown in the
illustration.
9. If the oil level is below MIN, add
enough ATF to raise the oil level
to MAX. Do not fill over MAX mark.
Caution
Too much fluid will decrease
vehicle performance.
Do not overfill the automatic
transmission fluid.
This can damage the
transmission.
Engine coolant
In countries with moderate climate
the coolant provides freeze protection
down to approx. -35 °C.
In countries with cold climate the
coolant provides freeze protection
down to approx. -50 °C.
Maintain a sufficient concentration of
anti-freeze.
Caution
Only use approved anti-freeze.
Coolant level
Caution
Too low a coolant level can cause
engine damage.
If the cooling system is cold, the
coolant level should be above the
filling line mark. Top up if the level is
low.
