SELF-CLEANING FEATURE
The brewer is equipped with a self-cleaning feature to prevent and
remove mineral buildup.
TO USE
1. Fill the water tank with 13 oz of water and 1 oz white vinegar.
2. Insert the empty capsule receptacle into the brew chamber and close
the lid. If necessary, plug in the unit.
3. Ensure that the lift is in its lowest position. Place a mug or travel cup
large enough to hold at least 14 oz of water onto the rubber trivet on
the base.
4. Press and hold the brew button for 5 seconds until it starts flashing.
The brewer will start dispensing some hot water. When this initial,
partial dispensing of water stops, the light will continue flashing
for approximately 20 more minutes until it dispenses the remaining
water.
5. Do not remove the cup from the base until the brew indicator light
stops flashing and turns o completely.
6. After the light has turned o, carefully remove the filled mug from
the base. Discard the vinegar-water mixture. CAUTION: Mug and
water mixture will be very hot!
7. Flush the vinegar/water mixture from the brewer by "brewing" then
discarding two or three 14-oz cups of plain water.
