THIS APPLIANCE IS FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ON LY.
WARNING: When using electrical appliances especially when children are present, basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury
to persons, including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Do not use with an extension cord.
3. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
4. To protect against electric shock do not immerse cord, plug and fryer in water or other
liquid.
5. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
6. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting
on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
7. Do not operate any electrical appliance with a damaged power cord or power plug
or operate it after the appliance malfunctions, or has been dropped or damaged in
any manner.
8. The use of accessory attachments is not recommended by the appliance manufacturer as
it may cause injuries.
9. Do not use outdoors.
10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
11. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
12. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot
liquids.
13. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
14. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
15. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
16. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or
separate remote-control system.
17. WARNING: Never leave the appliance unattended while in use.
18. This appliance is intended to be used for household only. Do not use outdoors or for
commercial purposes.
19. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord in the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn
any control to "off," then remove plug from wall outlet.
20. Be sure that handles are assembled and fastened properly. See instructions regarding
handles on page 5.
