Connect each camera to the CheckVideo Gateway by aaching the video
connecon cable to the corresponding connecons on the back of the
Gateway (Figure 1). For example, connect the cable video connecon from
camera 1 to the connecon labeled Cam 1 on the back of the Gateway,
camera 2 to Cam 2, etc.
Verify that you have an acve network connecon from your router.
You can do this by conrming that you can access the Internet with a
computer within your local network. Connect the CheckVideo Gateway to
an available port on your router via an Ethernet cable.
Connect the CheckVideo Gateway power supply to the Gateway and plug
it in to an electrical outlet.
It will take at least 2–3 minutes before the lights located on the front panel
of the Gateway ash (before that they will inially be solid green and then
briey go dark). The lights will ash rapidly at rst. When the ashing
slows to one pulse per second, you are ready to register your Gateway.
Note: Write down the CheckVideo Gateway serial number, on
the boom of the Gateway (Figure 2). You will need this
informaon to complete the Inial Registraon process.
