page 8CheckVideo Gateway for Mobile Broadband Networks Installaon Guide
On the Inial Logon and Registraon Wizard page, Dene Nocaon Methods
secon (Figure 12), you can dene Primary User nocaons.
The email address entered in the User Informaon secon automacally
show in the Email 1 eld.
One address is automacally selected as the default for nocaons. To send
nocaons to a mobile phone, the address format varies by carrier (e.g.,
a Verizon Wireless address might be 7035551212@vtext.com). Also, the
domain name may be dierent for SMS and MMS messages.
Figure 13 shows SMS and MMS domain names for several major wireless
providers in the U.S. Refer to your carriers support documentaon or web
site for more informaon.
For each email, select one of the following Nocaon Formats:
- “Text” means that alert details are transmied via a text
message.
- Text with hyperlink to video” means the text message includes a link on the
CheckVideo Portal where you can view a 10 second event clip. These clips
cannot be displayed on mobile phones. Note that if you click Test to test this
opon, clicking the hyperlink opens a new tab in the browser you are using to
view the Registraon page.
- Text with aached sll image” means the message includes an aached
graphic le with a snapshot of the event in progress.
- Text with aached video clip” means a message with an aached ten second
video clip. You will also need to choose the maximum acceptable video
resoluon for the device viewing the video clip.
Once you have dened an email address and associated it with a Nocaon
Format, click the Test buon to conrm you can receive alerts as expected. If the
test fails, try another Nocaon Format.
Aer you have completed the required informaon elds, click the Set up Billing
buon (Figure 14) to proceed to the next step in the registraon process.
