Step 5-1 Register Primary User

The Primary User is the owner and main contact for this CheckVideo account. This
person denes system preferences, including access for addional users to the
same CheckVideo system.
On the Inial Logon and Registraon Wizard page, User Informaon secon, enter
the requested informaon in each eld (Figure 10).
Some elds to pay parcular aenon to include:
• User Name: Enter a valid email address as the primary email address that you
want associated with your CheckVideo account. This email address is used to
log into your account at portal.checkvideo.net.
• Password: Enter an alphanumeric password between 6 and 12 characters long
Aer inial registraon, you can update your password at any me via your
User Prole page.
• Time Zone: Select the me zone you prefer as the default me zone for all
CheckVideo devices registered to this account. All event conguraon opons
and event nocaons are displayed according to the me zone you select.
• Challenge Quesons: Select challenge quesons and answer them in a way
that you are sure to remember. Challege quesons are used to help you re-
trieve your login informaon at a later me.
Aer you have completed the required informaon elds, click the Dene No-
caon Methods buon (Figure 11) to proceed to the next step in the registraon
process.
