CONFIGURATION
1. To configure your new VIP Gateway, go to:
https://www.videoalert.net/ ...and
the following webpage appears:
Click on Advanced Settings to configure
the Gateway
2. Enter the VIP-Gateway MAC Address
Number printed on label on the bottom of
the Gateway you wish to configure, then
click the Next button.
3. If the MAC Address Number entered is
valid, and currently unassigned, a screen
requesting your dealer information will dis-
play. Enter your Dealer ID and password
and click Next to continue.
The Dealer ID is a 7 character ID
assigned upon Dealer registration
(ABC1234).
If you are not yet registered as a
VideoAlert.net Dealer, click on the
Dealer Registration link, on bot-
tom of www.videoalert.net screen.

Click Here! to check live image and insure
that the cameras are configured properly.

2 Configuring the VIP-Gateway
Once the VIP-Gateway and G-BOX have been completely wired and powered up, the Gateway must be
configured and activated; both of which are performed on-line. If the Gateway is only to be used for live
viewing and there are no plans to trigger video events to the VideoAlert.net server, the only step required
is the registration of the MAC address described below. The next several pages will guide you through
the on-line configuration and activation process.
