5 Open the rubber cap covering the power port.

Plug the power connector into the power port. The battery is fully charged after
approximately 2 1/2 hours.
Powering On and Off the Portable Data Terminal
1 To turn on the PDT, press the red power button on the lower left-hand side of the
terminal to turn on the unit.

Note: When not using the Portable Data Terminal within a set amount of time, the device enters a Power
Save mode, meaning the device powers down. To turn it back on press the red power button. You
are returned to the last window presented prior to shut off.
2 To turn off the unit, press and hold the power button until the screen turns grey, then
press the power again.
