Meter Cloning Instructions

NOTICE!

Do not connect the two meters to

the same 4-20 mA loop while

cloning. Internal calibration may

be affected.

1. Connect the two meters using cable assembly PDA7420 or equiva-

lent (e.g. Digi-Key P/N H1663-07-ND). Cable should not exceed

7' (2.1 m).

2. Power up both meters. Leave Clone meter in Run Mode.

3. Enter the Advanced features menu of the Master meter, see Ad-

vanced Features Menu, page 50.

4. Scroll to Copy function using Up arrow button then press

Enter/Ack.

5. The meter displays the message Send. Press Enter/Ack, the dis-

play flashes while sending data. The message done is displayed

when copying is completed.

6. The Clone meter displays the memory address being programmed

then the message done when copying is completed. The meter ini-

tializes and returns to Run Mode using the same settings as the

Master.

7. If meter to be cloned does not respond to the data being sent, refer

to Copy Function Requirements above.
