Using VSX with Multi-Domain Security Management

To assign an predefined GUI client to this Domain, select one or more GUI clients or groups from the
Not Assigned column and click Add. The GUI client moves to the Assigned column.
To remove an GUI client, select one or more GUI clients or groups from the Assigned column and click
Remove. The administrator moves to the Not Assigned column.
To define a new GUI client, click New GUI Client and configure the appropriate properties. For more

Adding a Domain Management Server
The First Domain Management Server let you to define a Domain Management Server to manage this
Domain's network. Select Yes to continue with the Domain Management Server definition or No to define
the Domain Management Server later. If you select Yes, you can define up to two Domain Management
Servers for this Domain at this point. You can add additional Domain Management Servers later.
Note - You can only add one Domain Management Server for per
Domain on each Multi-Domain Server defined in your system. For
example, you must have at least three Multi-Domain Servers if you
wish to define three Domain Management Servers for a Domain.
Additional Domain Management Servers can be used as high
availability standbys or to spread management traffic over several
Multi-Domain Server machines.
To add a Domain Management Server after you complete a Domain definition, simply right click on the
Domain in the Domain Contents view and select Add Domain from the option menu.
To create a Domain Management Server, enter the following information:
Name: Domain Management Server object name for the Domain in the Domain Name field. Only
alphanumeric characters and the underscore character are valid.
Multi Domain Server: Select an Multi-Domain Server from the list
IP Address: Virtual IP assigned to this MDA. Click Get Address to resolve an address by the Domain
Management Server name or to automatically assign an address from a predefined pool of addresses.
You can also manually enter an IP address.
Licenses. Attach a Domain Management Server license. If you are using a VSX/Domain Management
Server bundle license, it is not necessary to enter a license here.
