9.6 C-Scan® View Editor
9.6.1 Editor introduction
C-Scan
®
View Editor is used to analyze procedure data. Users able to perform analysis are
Analyst, Supervisor and Physician.
Analysts - use the Editor to perform pre-analysis, review entire data, identify suspects,
analyze suspects, and mark suspicious findings.
Supervisors - use the Editor to review pre-analysis performed by the analysts, prior to
physician final analysis. Supervisors can also add suspects, perform suspect analysis
and add findings.
Physicians - use the Editor to perform final analysis. Review pre-analysis and release
a procedure report. Physicians can also add suspects, perform suspect analysis and add
findings.
To analyze a case, first login to the C-Scan
®
View application (see 9.1.1 for instructions).
Choose a procedure for analysis on the C-Scan
®
Database and download it to your local
files (see 9.5.1 for instructions).
Open the procedure data using the editor (see 9.5.2 for instructions).
The editor Pre-Analysis screen can be seen in Figure 69.

A released case can be downloaded for local analysis only, and the cases ID in the Editors
header includes: .
The Editor allows the user to review the reconstructed colon built using procedure data,
displayed in form of 2D slices, 2D maps, structural model and estimated capsule path.
Editor pre-analysis screen main functionalities include:
• Slice profile (#1 in Figure 70)
• XRF/CMT maps (#2 in Figure 70)
• Structural model (#3 in Figure 70)
• Estimated capsule path (#4 in Figure 70)
