The lower frame of the stencil shall be placed around 2 cm above the groove of
the buttock along the spine. Once the stencil is located, the places for the three
stickers shall be marked.
Remove the stencil.
1. Take the C-Scan
®
Track and stickers from the C-Scan
®
Kit package. Be sure to
keep the Kit package (containing the Cap) in close proximity to the Track at all
times during this step.
Remove the liner from the biggest sticker and attach it to the subject’s skin just
above the buttocks according to the mark previously made. Do the same for the
remaining two upper stickers, as illustrated in Figure 4.
Note: Be aware of the marking right (R) and left (L) on the stickers intended for
the upper unit of the C-Scan
®
Track and place them accordingly to the right and
left of the spine.
Note: When placing the stickers, ask the subject to lean forward (at a 45-degree
angle) and put his hands against a wall or on a table for stability. This helps ensure
a strong and correct adhesion of the stickers.
Figure 4: Attachment of the stickers
Insert the C-Scan
®
Track into the pockets on the stickers- the main unit in the lower
pocket and the two smaller upper units, left and right (labeled L and R) in the upper
pockets, as illustrated in Figure 5.
Before closing the pockets, please make sure:
A- You followed the right R and left L markings on the stickers and on the C-Scan
®
Track units.
B- Labels on all 3 C-Scan
®
Track units are facing towards you.
C- The cables connecting the upper units to the lower central unit do not intersect.
D- A flashing green LED can be seen on the bottom right corner of the main unit.
Note: When the C-Scan
®
system is active, the indication of a flashing green
LED is visible every 2 sec (during the whole procedure).
