7. UPDATING THE FIRMWARE OF THE CAMERA
7.1. Where can the firmware version of the camera be read?
The current version of the camera's firmware is available from
the "Main" menu by validating with F2  the item .
The version number appears on the "Soft version:" line of this
menu.
7.2. How update the firmware?
 Software update is available on our website http://www.chauvin-arnoux.com, under the heading C.A 1954 support.
 If an update is available on the website, please download and install it.
Step Action

The update archive must be copied to the root directory of the µSD card before it is inserted in the camera.
2.
When the device is next switched on, the application detects the update and asks the user if he/she wants to
install it. If the answer is "yes", the update is applied.
Warning!

An update is a critical operation.

Make quite sure that the batteries are adequately charged.

We strongly recommend recharging the batteries before updating.

Never interrupt an update in progress.
