4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Master/Slave Mode:
This mode will allow you to link up to 32 units together without a controller.
1) Use standard DMX cables to daisy chain your units together via the DMX connector on the rear
of the units. For longer cable runs we suggest a terminator at the last fixture. For more
information about terminators, see page 9.
2) Choose a unit to function as the Master. Turn dipswitches to the Master position on the unit. The
unit must be the first unit in line. Then simply chain the units together using DMX cable.

Master 10 = Off
3) Turn switch to the Slave position on the slave units, and they will react the same as the Master.

Slave 10 = On
DMX Mode
This mode allows the unit to be controlled by any universal DMX controller. If you are unfamiliar with
DMX, please read the DMX Primer on page 15.
1) To place the unit in DMX mode set dipswitch 10 to the ON position
2) Use dipswitches 1-9 to set the DMX address.
LED Indicators
1) Blue- Lights when DMX signal is active
2) Green- Ready to fog
3) Red (front) - When two red indicators are lit the machine is low on fog fluid. The machine will
shut down in order to prevent damage from occurring until fluid is added.
4) Red (top)- The red indicators next to the fluid tank are on when the machine is warming up
5) Green (top) - The green indicators are lit when the unit is ready to fog.
Wired Remote Operation
Timer function:
1) Dipswitch #10 must be set to the “OFF” position
2) Set the power button on the remote to the “Off” depressed position.
3) Set the “Timer” button o the “On” position.
3) Wireless transmissions have a 30 meter range.
Manual continuous fog operation:
1) Dipswitch #10 must be set to the “OFF” position
2) The power button on the remote may be in the “On” or “Off” position
3) The “Manual” button on the remote must be “On”.
3) Adjust the output with the “Volume” knob.
Note: this will override “Timer” operation
