The pallet should not be reused after the cabinet reaches its destination. Reusing a shock pallet may not protect the cabinet and installed equipment. If a cabinet with installed equipment needs to be shipped to a new destination, a new shock pallet must be used.

It is recommended to allow a minimum clearance of 30 in. (762 mm) at the back of the rack. It is recommended to allow a minimum of 48 in. (1219.2 mm) clearance beyond the front of the rack to permit server installation and removal.
