INTRODUCTION
This document is the User’s Manual for rack-mount Monitored and Controlled PDUs by
Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI).
CPI rack-mount Monitored and Controlled PDUs provide current monitoring over the
network and are accessible though a Java-compatible Web Browser or CPI’s Scalable
Enterprise Management Application (SEMA) software. The PDUs can be accessed
through other applications/appliances via SNMP and can be accessed with provided
software using a direct serial connection to a computer. All models include a current
meter with a digital display. Controlled PDUs include switched outlets/receptacles
allowing power to be turned on or off and remotely cycled to each controlled port
(outlet/receptacle). Controlled PDUs also measure current use at each controlled port
(outlet/receptacle).
CPI rack-mount Monitored and Controlled PDUs are part of CPI’s Enterprise
Infrastructure Solutions and can be used with CPI’s SEMA software, CenterLine,
CenterBridge and PowerScope In-Line Meters to provide enterprise-wide, web-based
KVM switch access to devices (computer and network switch equipment), asset
management and power monitoring.
