1. Attach the nipple(-a) to the mounting strap, then secure it with a washer
and hex nut.
2. Attach the mounting strap to the ceiling box by using two mounting screws.
3. Unscrew all bolt nuts from the studs.
4. Secure rod onto nipple(-c) and screw the loop tightly onto nipple(-b).
5. Adjust middle arms and bottom arms of the fixture according to the
drawing of the package.
Important to know:
a. The arms of each tier (bottom, middle) should be positioned with
equal distances between them.
b. The arms should be fixed securely.
6. Place the support arm to the fixture as shown in the diagram. Lay one end of
the support arm by aligning the hole on it with the stud on the bottom arm,
secure with a bolt nut. Lay the other end of the support arm to the rod by
aligning the hole on it with the stud on the rod and secure with a bolt nut.
Repeat with other arms.
7. Choose the length of the chain you need, then weave the fixture wire and the
fixture grounding wire through the chain. Then connect one end of the chain
with the loop by using the loop lock.
8. Secure the top loop onto the nipple(-a).
9. Thread the fixture wire and fixture grounding wire through the collar, canopy,
top loop, nipple(-a) and mounting strap in order.
10. Connect the link on the other end of the chain with the top loop by using the
loop lock.
11. Make wire connections with the wire nuts:
---The smooth wire (marked) from the fixture to the black wire
from the power source.
---The ridged wire (unmarked) from the fixture to the white wire
from the power source.
---Attach the fixture grounding wire to the mounting
strap with the green grounding screw. Then connect
it to the house grounding wire with a wire nut.
Carefully tuck wires back into the ceiling box.
12. Attach the canopy to the mounting strap by inserting the
top loop, then secure them with the collar.
13. Screw the nipple(-d) into the coupling and secure it with a hex nut.
Then attach the notched plate and cap upward to the bottom
arms by inserting nipple(-d) and secure them with the finial.
Note: Slots in notched plate must locate into position
between bottom arms.)
14. Attach the glass shades onto the glass holders, and secure
them with the socket rings.
Note: All glass shades of each tier should be on the same
horizontal level.
15. Install bulbs. (Please do not exceed the maximum capacity
that is recommended on the package.)
16. Turn on the power at fuse or circuit breaker box.
