DISASSEMBLING AND REPAIRING THE PUMP ASSEMBLY

1. Release the pressure from the sprayer and remove all liquid from
both the pressure chamber and tank.
2. RemovetheIn-tankfilterfromthepressurechamber(fig.1).
3. Removehose(fig.2).
4. Remove2boltsattachingthepivotlevertothepumpshaftand
removepistonassembly(fig.3).
5. Removethe2boltsholdingbackspine/frame(fig.4),andtheback
spine/framewillcomeo.
6. Rock the pressure chamber back and forth and push down to free it
fromthetank(fig5).Oncefreedtheentirepumpassemblycan
be removed.
7. The pressure chamber o-ring can be replaced. DO NOT stretch
theo-ringoverthebottomflange.Assembletheo-ringoverthetop
of the chamber. Apply petroleum jelly to the o-ring before
reinstallingpumpassemblyintothetank(fig.6).
8. Toinspectpistonand/orpistoncylindercomponents,remove
protectivedustcap(fig.7).
9. Removethepiston(fig.8)andinspectforwear.Seenextpagefor
further repair instructions.
10. Reassembleinreverseofremoval.Note:thereisanotch/tab
combinationinthepumpassembly/tanktobeusedfor
alignment(fig.9).
