Rotator Drive Unit Installation:
1. Using this chart, ensure that
you have the proper gauge
rotator cable based on the
distance the control unit
will be from the drive unit.
(You may experience issues
when underrated rotator
cable is used)
2. Install Drive Unit to base mast. (Lower Clamps). Figure 1. For initial
synchronization ensure that the threaded bolts on your drive unit are
pointing south and the drive unit is on the north side of the mast.
3. Install a short piece of mast (Do Not exceed three feet) to the drive
unit (Upper Clamps) then attach your antenna to the top of the short
mast using the clamps that were included with your antenna.
Figure 1.
4. Once the drive unit is securely installed, connect the proper rotator
cable to the drive unit as shown in Fig. 2 then run the cable directly
inside the home to the control unit. Note: The wire colors of your
cable may vary. Make sure you connect 1 to 1, 2 to 2 and 3 to 3.
Rotator Control Unit Installation:
1. Connect the unconnected end of the rotator cable to the control unit
as shown in Figure 3.
2. Connect the power cord to the back of the control unit and plug the
other end into a wall outlet.
3. Install the batteries in your remote control as shown in Figure 4.
4. To synchronize your control
unit with the rotator, press the
SYNC button (symbol) on the
front of the control unit and let
it complete the cycle. Once
complete, input 000 on your
remote control to position the
drive unit facing north.

position (the same as the front panel controls). Alternately, a
location may be accessed directly using a 3 digit compass location.
Example, press 090 for East, 225 for South-West, etc.
2. Programming Preset Locations - This is the most popular mode of
operation, 69 preset locations (01 to 69) allow location numbers to
be the same as TV channel numbers if desired.
A. Find best signal using UP and DOWN controls.
B. Decide on a memory location, e.g. 27.
C. Press 27 UP 27 (Locations 01 to 09, e.g. 05 may be programmed by
either 05 UP 05 or 5 UP 5.)
