Sets date and time. Has auto or manual setting. Auto
setting is recommended. To set:
1. Press Menu
2. Use
pq menu buttons to select SET UP screen
3. Press  to select CLOCK
4. Press  to select DATE and TIME
5. Use pq buttons to select AUTO DATE and
TIME
6. Press button to select TIME ZONE
7. Use pq buttons to change TIME ZONE
8. Press ubutton to select DST
9. Use
pq buttons to change DST
10. Press  to store

Used to select between three (3) different onscreen
display languages. To change:
1. Press 
2. Use
pq buttons to select SET UP screen
3. Press  to select LANGUAGE
4. Use pqbuttons to change LANGUAGE choice
5. Press to select
6. Press  to store
UN IV ER SA L R C
Universal remote control function. Used to turn on or off
the universal remote control function. Factory setting is
set to ON. Use the Pioneer Cable Box code if using
a universal remote. If using a Channel Master remote
controlled rotator, you may turn the universal remote
control feature OFF to avoid conicts between the rotator
remote control and the converter box. To turn :
1. Press 

pq buttons to select SETUP screen
3. Press  to select Universal RC
4. Press  to select 
5. Press pq buttons to change to 

Restores setting to factory default settings. The default
password is 0000. To reset password:
1. Press 
2. Use
pq buttons to select PARENTAL CONTROL
screen
3. Press  to select PASSWORD
4. Press  then qbutton to select NEW
PASSWORD
5. Enter  in new password eld
6. Press qbutton to select RESET PASSWORD
7. Press 
8. Password is now set to 0000

Turns unit off after four (4) hours without user input.
This is a required, energy saving feature. Factory default
is ON and the unit will shut OFF after four (4) hours
without user input (ex: pressing , , or ).
To turn off this feature:
1. Press 
2. Use
pq buttons to select SET UP screen
3. Press  and a warning screen appears
4. Press ubutton to select YES
5. Press 
6. Press  to uncheck the AUTO POWER DOWN box
7. Press to store
The length of time to power down, and the option
to turn off the warning screen are also accessed from
this menu.
