MY – Y-Modem Output
Purpose Uploads recorder data to a host computer using standard
YMODEM protocol.
Format MY
Recommended Setting. Use WinHADCP or BBTalk to recover data (see
“Recovering Data from the Loop Recorder,” page 15).
Description Use the MY command to recover data from the recorder only
when BBTalk is not available to recover the data.
RY uploads the entire contents of the recorder via the serial
interface to a host computer using the standard YMODEM
protocol for binary file transfer. Any communications pro-
gram that uses the YMODEM protocol may be used to upload
the recorder data. The data is transferred to the host and
stored as DOS files.
