Operation Symbols
Some of the following symbols may be used on this product. Please study them and learn their meaning. Proper interpretation of
these symbols will allow you to more safely operate the product.
SYMBOL MEANING
Engine START
Engine ON
Engine STOP
Locking Receptacle
Circuit Breaker Reset: Push
Circuit Breaker Reset: Flip
Neutral Bonded to Frame. Neutral
circuit IS electrically connected to the
frame/ground of the generator.
Hertz. Shown on Intelligauge as
“F##.#”
Volts. Shown on Intelligauge as
“U###”
Runtime. Shown on Intelligauge as
“###.#”
Ground Terminal
Fuel Valve ON.
SYMBOL MEANING
Fuel Valve OFF.
Choke
Run
10 W-30
Check Oil Level. Recommended oil is
10W-30. The engine can be seriously
damaged without oil. Always check
the oil level before using. The
machine must be resting firmly on
level ground when checking.
Check Fuel Level. Use clean, fresh,
regular unleaded gasoline with a
minimum octane rating of 85 and an
ethanol content of less than 10% by
volume.
Fuel Valve ON.
Fuel Valve OFF.
Engine Switch ON. Press the Engine
Switch to “ON” position.
Engine Switch OFF. Press the Engine
Switch to “OFF” position.
Choke. Move choke lever to “CHOKE”
position.
