Troubleshooting
The following table provides solutions to common problems encountered with the shredder.
Fault Possible Cause Solution
Motor will not start No mains power supply Check the socket, cable, lead
and plug for damage, and if
necessary, have any damage
repaired by qualied repair
personnel.
Overload protection tripped Wait until the motor has cooled
down, then press the Reset
button and restart the unit
Lid of housing not closed
