Series 100 Dock Seal Installation Instructions
Hardware
Your Dor-Seal was purchased with the intent to be mounted so that its vertical pads are
either flush with or offset from the door jam.
If the Dor-Seal vertical pads are to be mounted flush with the doorjamb, each unit will
contain the following:
6 90° Angle Bracket
6 Flat Brackets
24 5/16" x 1 ½" Screws
If the Dor-Seal vertical pads are to be mounted offset from the doorjamb, each unit will
contain the following:
10 90° Angle Bracket
2 Flat Brackets
24 5/16" x 1 ½" Screws
Install Directions
1) Attach two (2) 90° angle brackets on the outside of each pad, being sure to firmly
attach the brackets to the lumber backing of the seal using two (2) screws per bracket.
2) Anchor vertical pads on the building face, so the opening between pads is the
desired width.
3) Attach two (2) Flat brackets (if flush mounted) or two (2) 90° angle brackets (if
offset mounted) to the inside of each vertical pad. Using two (2) screws per bracket.
4) Anchor inside of vertical pad to doorjamb of building face.
5) Follow exact same instructions with head pad – install brackets and anchor to
building.
