Firearm Disassembly
Lift the fore-end latch (Fig. 4) while pushing the fore-end slightly towards the barrel.
Remove the fore-end away from the barrels (Fig. 5).
Hold the receiver with one hand and the barrels with the other hand. Unlock the breech
mechanism by pressing the top lever. Rotate the barrels around the hinge pin by approximately
45° in order to slide the barrels out of the hinge pin (Fig. 6).
Firearm Assembly
With the firing mechanism cocked
In the event that the firing mechanism is cocked, the firing pins do not protrude from the
receiver. Rotate the top lever to the open position until the latch snaps in. Place the barrels
inside the receiver and slip them onto the hinge pin, rotate the barrels to close the firearm,
while the latch releases the top lever whose subsequent motion will lock the barrels (Fig. 7). It
is not possible to place the barrel inside the receiver without having the top lever arrested in
the open position.
Fit the fore-end onto the front surface of the receiver and pivot it on the receiver guiding
surfaces, finally pushing it towards the barrels.
Once the fore-end has been placed inside the receiver, the latch snaps down under the
fore-end hook. Push the latch finally to closed position. To verify the correct assembly, break
the barrels and close them again.
With the firing mechanism released
In case the firing mechanism is released, the firing pins protrude from the receiver. Rotate
the top lever to the open position until the latch snaps in. During this operation the protruding
firing pins are pulled down. Place the barrels inside the receiver and slip them onto the hinge
pin, rotate the barrels to close the firearm, while the latch releases the top lever whose
subsequent motion will lock the barrels (Fig. 7). It is not possible to place the barrel inside the
receiver without having the top lever arrested in the open position.
Fit the fore-end in front of the front surface of the receiver and by turning the top lever at
the same time pull down the cocking levers. In the event that the cocking levers are not pulled
down by the lever, the fore-end cannot be fitted to the front surface of the receiver. By pivoting
it along the guiding surfaces of the receiver push the fore-end towards the barrels (Fig. 8).
Once the fore-end has been placed inside the receiver, the latch snaps down under the
fore-end hook. Push the latch finally to closed position. To verify the correct assembly, break
the barrels and close them again.
