Setting the sights
Due to changes in the ballistic characteristics using any ammunition other than that for
which the firearm was set from the factory can cause the shifting of the point of impact in
relation to the point of aim.
In general:
The point of impact is located below the point of aim - meaning that you should lower the
front sight.
The point of impact is located to the right of the point of aim - you should shift the rear
sight by tapping it to the left.
And vice versa:
Changing the height of the front sight by 0.2 mm corresponds to a height shift of the point
of impact of 3 cm at 50 metres.
A sideshift of the rear sight by 0.2 mm corresponds to a lateral shift of the point of impact
of 3 cm at 50 metres.
Setting the point of impact of the lower barrel
When changing ammunition or when attaching a rifle scope the height between the points
of impact of the individual barrels may change. Set the required grouping in the following
manner:
Release the locking screws on the central bar.
By evenly tightening the adjusting screws towards the lower barrel, move the point of
impact of the lower barrel upwards. A half-turn of the adjusting screw corresponds to a shift of
the point of impact by 15 cm at 50 metres. After reaching the desired grouping slightly tighten
the locking screws (Fig. 3).
CAUTION:
You can only claim a warranty on the sighting-in and grouping of the barrels if you are
using the centerfire ammunition indicated on the grouping target.
