OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Observe Following Principles when Shooting the Firearm
- before you start shooting, you must clean the firearm's external surfaces followed
by barrel bores including both chambers and finally wiping all surfaces dry
- use only good quality, uncorroded cartridges.
- Do not use cartridges that have been dropped and are dirty unless they are properly
cleaned
- always wear suitable ear protectors and safety glasses when shooting
- do not fire an over oiled firearm
Loading the Firearm
Using your right hand thumb, push the top lever to the right and break the barrels with
the other hand (Fig. 1). The barrels must be broken to their utmost. When the barrels are
broken, the top lever is kept in the open position, the safety is automatically moved to the "on
safe" position and the firing mechanism is drawn. Insert cartridges into the chambers and place
the barrels back to their original position. The top lever is released and the wedge locks the
barrels. Check whether the top lever is aligned with the axis of fire and if not use pressure to
align it.
The Safety and its Operation
In order to disengage the safety, shift the safety forwards (Fig. 2) until you can observe
the orange dot, point at the target and fire from the lower barrel by pressing the trigger. After
releasing the pressure on the trigger and pressing it again you will fire from the upper barrel.
A single trigger mechanism is not dependent on the recoil from the first shot.
After firing from the lower barrel it is possible to set the firearm to the "on safe" mode by
moving the safety backwards.
Break the barrels and replace the spent cartridge case with a fresh cartridge. The
extractor will slide the cases out of the chambers, even if the cartridge has not been fired.
Disassemble the firearm and clean it after firing
Sighting-in and barrel grouping
The thermostable barrel group with a floating lower barrel allows for repeated firing,
without the impact rising as it can be observed in classical constructions.
The barrels have been sighted-in at a distance of 50 metres using the fixed sights. The
firearm is accompanied with a grouping target showing four hits fired one after the other (two
from each barrel) and indicating the type of ammunition used. Described below are possible
adjustments that we recommend entrusting to a specialised workshop.
