loss. This will require the 3-phase power to be cycled to clear the fault on the drive. Please
refer to the Kollmorgen Servostar Installation and Setup Manual for a complete list of drive
fault conditions.
Over Velocity Fault
– These lights are normally off and will come on to indicate a motor has
moved faster than the desired maximum velocity. The desired maximum velocity can be set by
adjusting the potentiometers in the row labeled Velocity Limits below their respective lights.
User Generated E-Stop
– This light is normally off and comes on to indicate that the system
was shutdown via the user generated emergency stop button.
Software Generated E-Stop
– This light is normally off and comes on to indicate that the
system was shutdown via the software kill bit. The host computer controls this bit.
Logic Voltage Ready
– This light is normally on and turns off when the logic voltage falls
below a safe value.

An additional light is located on the bottom right side of the front panel, shown in Figure 4.
This light indicates that the 3-phase power is turned on and the cabinet is active. DO NOT
OPEN CABINET WHILE MAIN POWER LIGHT IS ON.
