1. Place the power switch on the defective power supply to the O position.

2. Unplug the power cord from the defective power supply and pull it from behind the power supply

handle.

3. Loosen the two screws attaching the handle to the module.

4. Carefully pull the power supply straight out of the module, making sure you do not damage the

input line cable.

5. Reverse the steps to replace the FRU.

WARNING:

Personal injury: Do not plug the power cord into the new power supply until after you

have completely installed the supply.

6. Go to “Restoring Operation” on page 4-79.
