1. Review the information under “Preparation” on page 4-1.

2. Disconnect all the connectors except the personality module from the rear of the EM.

3. Remove the screws attaching the EM to the frame.

4. Use the EM handle to gently pull the EM out from the frame until it stops.

5. Disconnect all the connectors from the LLC card. See Figure 4-8 on page 4-31.

6. Remove the two screws from the left side of the EM.
