Vinyl Soffit and Vertical Siding
General Description: Perimeter soffit is appropriate for use in new construction for single family homes, multi-housing
projects and light commercial developments. It is also an ideal product for remodeling. The hidden vented style is
intended
for eaves installation only. Perimeter Soffit provides 9.65” of net free air space per sq. ft. The solid version can
be used as
either a solid soffit or vertical siding.

Lock: Designed for ease of installation, Perimeter soffit panels feature a post-formed lock popular with installers for
its
locking assurance and trouble-free handling.
Accessories: CertainTeed manufactures a wide range of siding and soffit accessories that are compatible with the
Perimeter
soffit style and colors. Accessory products include installation components, soffit, window and door trim,
corner
lineals, corner systems and decorative moldings.
Composition: Perimeter soffit is produced using CertaVin™ custom-formulated PVC resin. This resin is
produced
exclusively by CertainTeed, allowing CertainTeed to maintain the high quality of its siding products.
Technical Data: Perimeter soffit and vertical siding is in compliance with ASTM specification for Rigid Polyvinyl
Chloride
(PVC) Siding D3679, D4477 Specification for Rigid Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Soffit, the requirements of
section R703.11
of the International Residential Code, and section 1404.14 of the International Building Code. Perimeter
soffit and vertical
siding meets or exceeds the properties noted in Table 1.
