3.4 Managing FA4800
Before starting a management session, make sure that a communication link
between local and remote units exists. The Link Status indication bar in the middle
of the Main menu must be green and the Radio Link - Sync message must appear
in the event log (see Figure 3-3).

The FibeAir Manager main screen consists of the following elements:
• Toolbar – includes buttons serving for:
 Changing configuration parameters of operating wireless link; assigning text
files for storing alarms, statistics and configuration data (Link Configuration
button)
 Performing preliminary configuration of the system (Link Installation
button). This button is disabled once a link is defined.
 Clearing error counters (Clear Counters button)
 Logging off FibeAir Manager (Log Off button)
 Exiting FibeAir Manager (Exit button)
