4.1 Mounting
TheSA1DPisdesignedtobeeasilymountedontoaUSGangBox.
1. Before starting, select the location to mount the SA1DP controller. This location should be at
shoulder height and on the same side as the door handle.
2.RemovetheBezelScrewfromtheSA1DP(seeFigure1).
3.ScrewtheSA1DPcontrollerontoaUSGangBoxthroughthe2MountingHolesprovided(see
gure2).
4. Pass the wires through the exit/entry holes and attach them to the controller’s terminal blocks, as
shown in the wiring diagrams. (See Figure 3 & 4 in Wiring Diagrams for wiring diagrams of
common installations).
5.Replacethecontroller’sbezel,andreplacethefactorydefaultscrewwiththesecurityscrewthat
isprovidedintheInstallationKit.AsecurityscrewtoolisalsoprovidedintheInstallationKit.
