TALKSWITCH CONFIGURATION 170
3. To select the hunt groups the user can dial, select the Allow access to hunt groups checkbox.
This way the user can accept the call back, and then place an outbound call through the
TalkSwitch system. The window enables the Edit button.
4. Click Edit. The Call Back Bridging Access window appears.
Note: Depending on the region, callers can access either Hunt group 9 or Hunt group 0.
5. Select the hunt groups that can be used with the auto call back account.
6. If 3-Way Calling/Conference is selected in the Telephone Lines page, the Call Back Bridging
Access window enables the Allow the use of same line connect (by dialing 80) checkbox.
Select the checkbox to enable hunt group 80.
If the user dials hunt group 80, the TalkSwitch system will use the same telephone line to
call the third party. It will have the telephone company put the user on hold. It will then
dial the third party’s phone number, using the same telephone line. Once the third party
answers, the TalkSwitch system will connect the user and the third party.
Recording an announced message
This procedure describes how to record the announced message played by the TalkSwitch unit
when the call back is answered.
1. Pick up a local extension connected to the TalkSwitch unit, or remotely call a telephone line
or VoIP number connected to the TalkSwitch unit. You must record the announced message
on the same unit that has the auto call back account.
2. Enter command mode by either pressing # on an analog extension phone, or *55# on a
TalkSwitch IP phone (note: other brands may use *55 Send or *55 Dial).
3. Enter the system password, followed by #.
4. Enter the command listed below, and follow the prompts.
5. Press * to exit command mode.
You can also record, enable or disable an announced message after dialing 6 at the auto attendant.
