1.2 FRONT PANEL LIGHTS
The front panel consists of a power button (“Power”) and five LED (Light
Emitting Diode) lights indicating the usage of the lines with different states
of illumination.
Warning: If TalkSwitch has been exposed to temperatures below 0°C prior
to installation, wait until the system has reached room temperature to
avoid condensation.Warning: If you live in an area with cold
temperatures, do not plug TalkSwitch into a power outlet until the system
has warmed to room temperature. Otherwise, condensation could build up
on the electronics and cause damage when you power up TalkSwitch.
Light: State Description
Line 1 On Solid Line 1 is currently in use.
Pulsing Slowly Line 1 caller is on hold.
Flickering Line 1 is ringing.
Quick Pulse Line 1 is engaged by a device that is sharing
the line with TalkSwitch.
Line 2 On Solid Line 2 is currently in use.
Pulsing Slowly Line 2 caller is on hold.
Flickering Line 2 is ringing.
Quick Pulse Line 2 is engaged by a device that is sharing
the line with TalkSwitch.
Power/Data On Solid TalkSwitch is powered on.
Flickering The PC connected (via Serial or USB) to
TalkSwitch is either sending or retrieving
information from TalkSwitch.
Pulsing Slowly Global Message Waiting Indicator (optional).
