2.7.1 Enabling Add-on demos
It is possible to enable time-limited demos for the addition of IP extensions
and Attendant Console.
To enable a demo:
1. In the TalkSwitch configuration software, select Licensed Add-ons.
2. In the Feature column, click the feature to be enabled as a demo.
3. Click the Activate Demo button. A window appears stating the feature
has been enabled.
4. Click the Reboot Now or Reboot Later button. The Reboot TalkSwitch
System window appears if Reboot Now was selected.
2.7.2 Enabling Add-ons using an Activation Key
In order to enable TalkSwitch optional features, a License Code and the
TalkSwitch unit System ID are required.
2.7.2.1 Step 1: Obtaining a License Code
1. Contact your reseller, or go to the Licensed Add-ons section at
http://shop.talkswitch.com and purchase the feature to obtain the
License Code.
2. Record your licence code. It is required to obtain an activation key in
order for the feature to be enabled.
3. Perform Step 2 below with your licence code.
2.7.2.2 Step 2: Obtaining the TalkSwitch System ID
1. Select Licensed Add-ons. The screen appears displaying available
features and activation functions.
2. Record the System ID value present in the System ID text box.
Alternatively, click the Copy ID to Clipboard button to copy the System
ID to the clipboard.
(if going immediately to http://activation.talkswitch.com, the value can
be pasted from the clipboard).
3. Go to http://activation.talkswitch.com. Licence code and system ID
values are required.
