Troubleshooting
The following table summarizes problems that may be encountered over the life of
CEMLINE CORPORATION Electric Water Heaters and Boilers, and the procedures to
remedy those problems. The left-hand column lists the symptoms. The remaining
columns are suggested procedures or "remedies" that should be followed to identify and
correct the problem. If a "

at the rated capacity.

Probable Cause and Remedy
1. The operating or auxiliary high temperature limit thermostat(s) are incorrectly set.
n Check to assure that the thermostats are set for the desired temperatures.
Usually the operating thermostats will be set from 130 to 140 degrees
(130º to 140º) Fahrenheit. The auxiliary high limit thermostat should be
set at ten degrees (10º) above the temperature selected on the operating
thermostats. (Reference thermostat setting procedure page 17.)
