Assembly Pedestal Base • Remove the height adjustment knob from the pedestal outer tube. • Slide the base cover over the pedestal outer tube and replace the height adjustment knob. • Place the outer tube onto the base and the base weight under the base add washer then tighten with the screw provided. Mounting Fan onto Pedestal Base • If necessary, slightly loosen the head securing screw by turning it anticlockwise. • Slide the switch box down over the inner tube and tighten the securing screw.
Operating your Fan Always choose a safe location for the fan, keeping in mind the safety precautions outlined. Ensure all packaging has been removed from the unit before use. This appliance requires no installation, it should be used solely as a portable appliance. WARNING: Keep all objects at least 1 metre from the front, sides and rear of the appliance. Place the fan on a dry, level and sturdy surface. Check that the fan control switch is set to the off position before plugging into the mains supply.
Operating your Fan cont. To replace the batteries in the remote control, use a screwdriver to unscrew and lift the battery cover. Replace all batteries with 2 x AAA type batteries. Ensure you insert new batteries with the polarities in the correct direction. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw. Remove batteries when unit is not being used for prolonged periods. Do not dispose of batteries in fire as batteries may leak or explode. Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
One Year Warranty Thank you for purchasing this Celsius product. Your product is warranted against faults and manufacture when used in normal domestic use for a period of one year. In non-domestic use Celsius limits the voluntary warranty to three months. Celsius undertake to repair or replace this product at no charge if found to be defective due to a manufacturing fault during the warranty period.
