1.2 Key Key Function Pick-Up Make or answer a call. View call logs in standby mode. Hang-Up Pressing and holding to turn the phone on/off. End a call or reject an incoming call. Return to the idle mode. Enter the Main menu in idle mode. Select the highlighted item. Left Soft Key Right Soft Key Access the contact list in idle mode. Return to the previous menu. Navigation Key Press to switch input modes when entering text. Within a menu, press Up, Down, Left or Right to scroll through menu options. In idle mode, press to access four build-in functions. 1.3 Icons & Symbols Icon Description Network - Indicates signal strength (from no signal to strongest). Battery - Indicates battery level. To log on GPRS - The icon will be displayed only when you have logged onto GPRS. MMS - Indicates you have one or more unread MMS messages.
Headset-Indicates that headset profile is activated. Alert type is “Ring”.
2. Getting Started Please read the safety instructions in the "Safety Information and Notices" section before use. 2.1 Inserting the SIM Card and the battery 2.1.1 Remove the back cover and battery 2.1.
2.1.3 Install the battery and back cover 2.2 Inserting a T-Flash Card 1. Lift up the T-Flash card cover on the right side of the SIM card slot. Pull the cover down if it is locked and then lift it. A word “OPEN” will prompt you in the correct direction. 2. With the metal contacts facing down, gently slide the T-Flash card into the slot. 3. Press and pull the cover up to lock it. 3. 4. When all the scroll bars are steady, the battery is fully charged. It takes about 3 hours to fully charge the battery. Disconnect the charger from the phone. Disconnect the charger from the AC power socket. 2.5 Important Password Phone lock password is 1234. 2.6 Keypad Lock and Unlock Go to Settings > Security Setup > Auto Keypad Lock to select the time for keypad lock. 3. Text Entry 3.1 Input Method During text editing, you can press the # Key to switch input modes or press the Left Soft Key [Options] and select Input Method to select different input modes. After entering text, you can access the send options by pressing the Left Soft Key [Option] and then select Done. In idle mode, press the Left Soft Key [Menu] to access the main menu, and then select Internet > Data account > GPRS. This is where you can input the APN. Go back to idle mode by pressing the Hang-up Key. Select Menu > Messages > Email > Email accounts. Press the Left Soft Key [OK] to enter. Press the Left Soft Key [Options] to add a new email account, follow the steps which prompt you to go ahead.
