Talk
Google Talk is Google’s instant messaging program. It
lets you communicate with other people that also use
Google talk on a phone or on the web.
Sign in
To open Google talk, press HOME and tap the application
tab, and then touch Talk.
Note: The Google talk account is set up based on the
Google account you used in Gmail.
Chat
To start a chat, touch a friend from the friends list.
To add a new friend
You can only add people who have a Google account.
In the friend list, press MENU and then touch Add friend.
Enter the Google talk instant messaging ID or Google
email address of the friend you want to add.
Touch Send invitation.
To change your online status and message
Touch the online status icon beside your name, and
then select the status you want on the menu.
Touch the text box under your online status icon and then
enter you status message using the onscreen keyboard.
Touch Done on the screen keyboard.
Start a chat
Touch the name of a friend in the Friend list.
Type your message using the keypad.
When ready, touch Send.
To switch between active chats
If you have more than one chat going, you can switch
between them by pressing MENU and selecting Switch
chats.
On the panel that opens, select the chat you want to join.
To close a chat
To close the current chat, press MENU and select End
