Security settings
 Remember passwords: Touch to set it on or off, if
on, your phone will save user names and
passwords for web sites.
 Clear passwords: Touch to clear all the saved
passwords.
 Show security warnings: Touch it on to show
warning if there is a problem with a site’s security.
Advance settings
 Website settings: Touch Opens a screen where
you can view advanced settings for particular
websites
.
 Reset to default: Touch to clear all browser data
and reset all settings to default.
Download web files and applications
Before you download any files or applications using the
browser, note the following:
1. Before you can download Web applications, you
must go to Settings > Applications > Unknown
sources, select its check box.
2. All items downloaded from the Web are stored on
your SD card, so be sure you have a SD card
installed in your phone before you download from
the browser.
3. The browser will only allow you to download items
that are supported by an application installed on the
phone.
Warning: Applications downloaded from the web
can be from unknown source. To protect your
phone and personal data, only download
applications from sources you trust, such as
Android Market.
View your downloads
To see which files or applications you’ve downloaded:
From the Browse screen, press MENU and touch More >
Downloads.
The download history screen appears with the list of
downloads. If you have no downloads, nothing will be
shown on this screen.
