3 Text Entry
3.1 Input Method
During text editing, you can touch Options and select Input
Method to select different input modes.
3.1.1 Entering Symbols
In any input mode, touch the symbol button to open the symbols
input screen.
3.2 Smart Text entry
Smart text entry uses a built-in dictionary to recognize the most
commonly used words for every sequence of key touches.
2 to 9
Touch to input letters.
1 Touch to input symbol.
0 Touch to input space.
Clear Touch to clear a letter, touch and hold to
clear all entries.
Switch between input modes.
Touch to activate punctuation mode.
3.3 Multi-tap input
Your phone provides Multi-tap function. Touch once to get the
first letter on the key, touch twice quickly to get the second letter
and so on until the letter you want is displayed on the screen. For
example, in ABC input mode, touch the 2 Key twice to display the
letter B, and touch it three times to display the letter C.
3.4 Numeric Input
Touch the 123 icon to select "123" then you can enter the
numbers.
