5.10.3 Network Settings
Network Selection
New Search: Press to search for a new network.
Select Network: Press to select a network from the network list.
Selection Mode: Press the Left Soft Key [Change] to choose your network manually or automatically.
Preferences
Preferred Network allows you to build a preferred network list. Once defined, the phone will try to register
on the network, according to your preferences.
GPRS Connection
You can press the Left Soft Key [Change] to modify your GPRS connection: When needed or always.
When needed: Your phone will connect to the GPRS service only when required. This option reduces
energy consumption but increases the connection delay.
Always: Your phone automatically connects to the GPRS service (if available). This option allows quicker
access to GPRS features but increases energy consumption.

PIN Lock
To prevent your SIM card from illegal use, your SIM card is protected by a PIN code. If you set the SIM
lock to On, you can only use your mobile phone by entering the correct PIN code every time you turn it on.
