User manual

Every Portal and SNAP Firmware release comes with a release notes document describing what has changed
since the previous release.
All of these documents are in Portable Document Format (PDF) files for download from the Synapse website.
SNAP Documentaon by Category
The table below may help you navigate the SNAP Documentaon. It categorizes the exisng documentaon set
across two dimensions.
Horizontally we categorize the various manuals as “Introductory” or “Reference”. If you are new to SNAP, you
should probably be starng with the “Introductory” documents first, and then move up to the “Reference”
content.
Vercally we categorize the manuals along a spectrum between “Soware” and “Hardware”, with the “Kit”
documentaon considered to fall somewhere between the two extremes.

There is also a dedicated support forum at hp://forums.synapse-wireless.com. In this forum, you can see
quesons and answers posted by other users, as well as post your own quesons. The forum also has examples
and Applicaon Notes, waing to be downloaded. Registering on the Synapse Wireless website to download
Portal automacally registers you for the forum.
You can download the latest SNAP, Portal, and SNAP Connect soware from the website. You can also download
the latest documentaon from the forum, including the EK2500 and EK2100 guides. (You might want to do this if
you bought standalone modules instead of buying a kit.)
