7. Provide door with cylinder operation dead bolt lock with
reinforced installation in door and panel, safety release on
inside. All door keyed alike. Provide (5) keys.
8. On exposed-to-view exterior and interior of walk-in doors,
provide 36"H. wainscots constructed of .188 - 6061-T6 mill
finish aluminum tread plate and 3

door hinge, Mechanically
secure tread plate to door and seal thereto. Provide door
with 3
rd
hinge.
9. Provide doors into non-refrigerated spaces with an interior
mounted thermo-plastic, insulating, slatted curtain.
10. Provide a window in the door. Minimum 14" x 14" window.
Refrigerator door window shall be double or triple pane
glass with heat-reflective treated glass or gas fill. Window
shall be field replaceable. Window centered at 60" aff.
I. Interior lighting;
1. On the exterior of the door section, adjacent to the door,
provide a light switch w/ pilot light. Light switch is
pre-wired to a junction box at the latch side upper corner
of the door opening; wiring in conduit concealed within the
insulated panel.
2. Provide Three - (2) bulb fluorescent low temperature interior
lighting. Approx. 48"L. X 6-3/8"W. x 4"H. gray
injection-molded, high impact polycarbonate housing; clear
injection-molded, high impact polycarbonate diffuser secured
with s/s snap-on latches; high gloss white painted sheet metal
reflector; fire retardant, odor-free and non-toxic gasket;
low temperature electronic ballasts enclosed and mounted on
tray with safety tethers. All interior lights / light
sources shall have an efficacy of 40 lumens per watt or more,
including ballast losses (if any) or lights shall be used in
conjunction with a timer or device that turns off the lights
within 15 minutes of when the walk-in cooler or walk-in
freezer is not occupied by people.
J. Structurally design ceiling sections to span area shown, without
dip or bulge, in horizontal planes and provide exterior ceiling
suspension beams where required.
K. Provide vertical trim; angle/flat strips and closures of same
material and gauge as walk-in exterior wall surface(s), where
