d. Seal splash top, back edge to wall.
e. Construct drain boards for sinks of 14 ga. with all vertical
and horizontal corners coved on ½" R. No solder or caulked
fillets allowed. Drain boards shall be an integral part
of the sink. All exposed edges shall have continuous
formed 2"H. Raised Box Edge as detailed, terminating at
back splash and fully welded thereto (unless specified
otherwise). Exposed corners of Box Edge shall be square.
Back and end splash shall be continuous with sink's back
splash. Drain boards shall be 1-1/2" deep at end and slope
1/2"to sink. Provide drain boards with legs of same
specification as sink. Legs on drain boards shall be
connected with cross rails of same material as legs. Under
brace drain boards with 14 ga. x 1"x 4" x 1" channel or
1-1/2" x 1-1/2" angles, stud-bolted to drain board. Sound
deaden bottom of drain board.
15. Fittings;
a. Supply drain and faucet fittings as specified within each
individual item. One consistent faucet/pre-rinse
spray/hose manufacturer shall be used throughout the
kitchen.
b. Faucet fittings shall be centered behind single sinks or
centered over sink bowl partitions at multi-compartment
sinks.
c. Provide a chrome tail piece on all drain fittings.
d. Provide 14 ga. S/S ―L‖ bracket stud bolted to bottom of sink
bowl to support drain twist action handle. Shorten twist
action handles, when necessary, to be flush to front of sink
bowl.
e. Pre-rinse sprays, centered behind sinks with spray head
centered over disposal throat.
16. Removable Under Shelves:
a. Materials; Shelf shall be Stainless Steel.
b. Shelf shall be 16 gauge. Construct in section sizes to
allow cleaning them in dish machine. Roll edges down 1 ½"
fitting contour of cross rails, except where adjacent to
walls, or other equipment then turn edge straight up 1-1/2"
on 1/4" R. Turn adjacent edges of sections straight down
