Ringer settings
Incoming call ringer
There are six caller groups in your phonebook. You
can assign different ringtones to each of the caller
group so that you will know who is calling you when
your phone rings. You can tap the arrow on both sides
of the group settings to select a group.
There are two types of ringer for your selection in each
group. When browsing the ringer list, the selected
ringer will be played after a certain time delay at the
current volume setting (if the phone is set to mute, the
ringtone will be played at a low volume level).
The two types of ringer in each group are:
Standard
melodies
and
Own melodies
.
Standard melodies
stores the
factory default ringers, while the ringers in
Own
melodies
are non-factory default ringers, including
those you have downloaded or recorded using the
sound recorder.
Alarm clock ringer
You can set the alarm clock ringer here.
SMS alert ringer
You can set the SMS alert ringer here.
Screen settings
The following options are available:
Welcome text
You can edit the welcome text that appears when you
switch on the phone.
Idle screen settings
Idle screen type
You can assign an idle screen type, such as
Digital
or
Analog
.
Wallpaper
You can select a picture from any folder as your idle
screen background image.
Contracted idle screen
If activated, only the time and network operator will
be displayed on the screen. Calendar, Chinese
calendar and day of the week, etc will not be
displayed. This setting is not applicable in worldclock
idle mode.
Brightness settings
You can adjust the brightness of the back light. There
are five brightness levels for selection. Press the
navigation keys to select.
