10 Getting Started
Keeping the charger plugged to the mobile phone when
the battery is fully charged will not damage the
battery. The only way to turn off the charger is to
unplug it, so it is advisable to use an easily accessible
AC power socket.
If you do not intend to use your phone for several days,
we recommend that you remove the battery.
You can use the phone while it is charging (note that
the vibra alert goes off when the charger is connected).
If the battery is completely flat, the battery icon will
only reappear after a few minutes of charging.
Setting hotkeys
You can configure the numeric keys 2 - 9 to access
your favorite features. Once they have been set, you
can simply long press on the numeric key to access the
corresponding features.
Majority of the hotkeys have been preset and
configured. To check the hotkey settings, go to
Shortcuts > Hotkey. To change the hotkey setting, press
the numeric key you wish to change and select
Options
> Personalise, then select a feature to be associated with
the numeric key from the following list:
Numeric keys 0 , 1 , # and * have been
preconfigured as the default keys to enter “+”, access
voice mailbox, activate Meeting profile and the unlock
the keypad, respectively, and cannot be modified.
