FEATURES
◆ The IRL400 is perfect for professional results with candy, deep-frying,
meats, poultry, yeasts, and dough. Use this thermometer for foods
cooked in conventional or microwave ovens.
◆ This INSTA-READ® thermometer is a precision instrument, yet is rugged
and durable. Use it for quick, accurate readings after food has been
removed from the oven.
◆ Eliminate the guesswork! This thermometer may be used in any
application where precise temperature is important.
Important: A polycarbonate lens is used for a watertight seal. It may be
damaged if left in a hot oven. When deep-frying, always take care not to
splatter yourself with hot oil. Make sure that excess moisture has been
removed from food and do not allow any moisture to drop into oil.
Note: Clean the thermometer stem before inserting it into food. When using
the stainless steel clip, push the clip down onto the rim of the pot as far as it
will go. Adjust the thermometer so that the stem tip is just above the bottom
of the pot.
CANDY TEMPERATURES ARE NOTED IN RED ON THERMOMETER DIAL.
Temperature sensor is between “dimple” and
tip of stem. For best accuracy stem should be
inserted into food to dimple or higher.
Loop holds thermometer stem.
5 Year Limited Warranty: Any instrument that proves to be defective
in material or workmanship within five years of original purchase will
be repaired or replaced without charge upon receipt of the unit
prepaid at the address listed to the right. This warranty does not
cover damage in shipment or failure caused by tampering, obvious
carelessness or abuse.
